Carignan is one of the most widely planted grape variety in France`s Languedoc-Roussillon-Provence and it was very interesting to find an Argentinean example. And we were not
disappointed. The nose exhibits concentrated aromas of blackcurrant, blueberry and ripe morello cherries, underpinned by some rustic earth and leathery notes. The palate shows bold and full-on fruit flavours, but it is nicely balanced, with fresh, natural acidity carrying the bright, pure fruit flavours and soft, ripe tannins. More-ish to the extreme.
