KETEVAN BERISHVILI, GOGOWINE, Kakheti New!
Ketevan or Keti is the daughter of Kakha Berishvili, one of the pioneers of Georgia’s Natural and ancestral methods revival.
Keti produced her first wine in 2015 from 7.5 ares of biodynamically tended Saperavi and Rkatstiteli vines located in the Naprauli area of Kakheti, North Eastern Kakheti. The wines are macerated, fermented and aged in qveri with no additives nor manipulation other than moving the wine from one qveri to another after maceration is completed.
Saperavi shows dark fruit and wild herbs, big concentration, rich structure, with layers upon layers of dark, ripe fruit smooth tannins and powerful ending.
