Terres Promises, L'Apostrophe Rosé, Côteaux Varois (Provence) is a blend of 45% Grenache, 30% Carignan and 25% Cinsault with a nose of ripe peaches, watermelon and summer red fruits. On the palate medium-bodied and refreshing leading to a lingering finish. Very moreish!

Terres Promises, Jean-Christophe Comor - La Roquebrussanne (Var)
Organic - Natural

Jean-Christophe Comor grew up in Aix-en-Provence, he left his life as political advisor in 2004 when he purchased a rather derelict 14-ha vineyard and farm covering 2 appellations, Côteaux Varois and Bandol. He instantly opted for Organic viticulture and low intervention / natural approach in the cellar. From the word go, he  released wines with punchy fruit flavours, speaking the 'truth of the local rocky soils' as he likes saying. Jean-Christophe lets his creativity decide how each vintage will be vinified, and never hesitates to release new, original cuvées to reflect the conditions of that year.

His vineyards are at 400m altitude, protected by the massif de Sainte-Baume planted with Carignan, Mourvedre, Grenache noir, Cinsault and Syrah for the reds, Ugni Blanc, Clairette and Vermentino for the whites.
