El Abasto Malbec shows what Argentina is capable of. The gentle approach here in the vinification highlights the excellent quality of the fruit. This Malbec is punchy, packed with dense damson fruit / red fruits and tannins in alignment finishing with a lifted freshness. Dark cherry-red in the glass. On the nose, notes of summer red fruits, coffee and bitter chocolate. On the palate, medium-bodied and savoury with a smooth texture leading to a lingering finish.
