Chateau d'Arche 40 hectare vineyard is located on the heights of the village of Sauternes. Thanks to their great terroir, location and hard labour in the vineyard, Château d’Arche is ranked among the great wines of Sauternes.

They received ISO 14001 certification in 2011 which was the result of the team's efforts in intelligently controlling their impact on the environment. The vines age average 45 years, they produce highly concentrated juice rich in sugars and flavour The noble rot Botrytis Cinerea essential in producing sweet wines grows particularly well on the grapes composed mainly of Semillon (90%) but also Sauvignon (9%) and Muscadelle (1%).

At maturity, the grapes are harvested by hand and are subject to a rigorous selection. The picking teams are sent 4 or 5 times to select the most botrytised grapes. The wines are matured for over 18 months in oak barrels before bottling.
